Murder Mysteries

Looking for entertainment for your next company function? Off Broadway Theatrical Productions will custom write and perform a murder mystery to entertain you and your guests at your company Christmas party, or any function you may have in mind.

Although it is a murder mystery, it will also revolve around a humorous poke at your profession and business. The Off Broadway Gang of Misfits will have you rolling with laughter while you try and guess 'who dunnit'! Your guests will enjoy the antics that revolve around your line of business, or any particular theme you may have in mind. Our shows are not vulgar or blatantly offensive but they are acted out for 'adult audiences'.

We work with you and your organizing committee approximately six weeks before the party to get ideas, names, and inside jokes that we work into the show. We supply any props and costumes, and work with the catering staff of the hotel or hall to ensure a smooth evening. The actors can adapt to any size room or obstacle while entertaining your guests for a thoroughly fun evening!

Actors will mingle with the guests prior to the show (in character of course!) and then perform a comedic murder mystery that will run between 1½ to 2 hours. The show usually consists of 2 acts and an epilogue but we can set it up to fit your function. Although audience participation is not necessary, people are encouraged to follow the plot, enjoy the laughs and guess who-dunnit. They can ask the characters questions to help them along and you may want to offer prizes for some of the lucky guesses.

Group sizes have ranged from 50 to 500 and we have worked in every major hotel in Saskatoon. We have also done murder mystery fundraisers for Boy Scout associations and other community groups.
